Dance: It is so much more than a passion for movement..........

For me, dance has always been more than a passion for movement—it's a deep connection to how the body works, performs, and expresses itself.   Dance also made me realize how important it is to understand proper body mechanics and nutrition.  Lastly, dance highlighted an important link between physical and mental wellness.   Overall, the joy and energy I find through dance helped me recognize how movement with expression can positively impact mental health and emotional well-being, and has fueled my desire to learn more about kinesiology and its connection physical and occupational therapy as I head toward college.
